Welcome to 2016! Where did 2015 go? I hope everyone got a chance to take some much needed time away from work to re-engergize with family and friends during the Christmas/New Year break. The Mechanical Advantage blog has been pretty quite the last month, but that doesn't mean we have been idle. We have some announcements we can talk about right away, and a couple that are on the way that aren't ready to be discussed just yet. Stay tuned.
One of the things we can talk about right away is that Mechanical Advantage can now sell the Autodesk HSM CAM family of products: Inventor HSM and HSMWorks. We will also be offering customer specific training for Fusion 360 CAM, Autodesk Inventor HSM, and Autodesk HSMWorks. The Mechanical Advantage website will be updated soon with more information on these products.
We think we have some great blog topics planned for you in 2016 as well. We will continue to focus on Fusion 360, Inventor, and AutoCAD of course. As the Autodesk cloud starts to take a more important role in the direction Autodesk is heading, we will also look at Autodesk 360 related products. This exploration will not be limited to applications that are built using Autodesk 360 as the foundation such as Fusion 360, but will also look at how traditional desktop programs such as Inventor and AutoCAD can benefit from the cloud.
We are also excited to let you know we will be expanding our training options to include live online training using tools designed to facilitate online learning. As we do with our in-person training, we will cap these online training classes at five attendees to ensure each student gets the attention they deserve. To kick off 2016, we will be offering promotional rates on all training classes, so look for a revised calendar to be published very soon on the website with promotional pricing.
We look forward to helping you in 2016 whether that be CAD/CAM training or getting you setup with the Autodesk HSM CAM product that fits your needs. We would also like to know what you would like to see covered on the blog. Have an idea? Don't be shy, if there is something you are wondering about, chances are there is someone else wondering about the very same thing.
